PLT has launched several new solutions around extended release caffeine. “The ZoomXR energy technology has been extended to our green coffee bean to bring a more natural solution to the market. We are offering three new technologies, which we call ‘targeted energy.’ These concepts are extended release, delayed release and liquid stable extended release, which allows for wide application base for our customers; whether it is for powders, gummies or liquids. Conventional extended release technologies have been very limited and have tended to be in capsule format because they are based on lipid technologies only, which are not suitable for powders. The technology is based on a pharmaceutical model where from batch to batch, we have a dissolution curve that is held,” says Steve Vink at the company.
