Trends in collagen type II launches for skin and joint well-being

Healthy aging is important to 61% of global consumers, with more than half of people surveyed noting an interest in collagen ingredients. Collagen shines as a key ingredient with an average annual growth of 17% in supplements and sports nutrition globally, from Jul 2018 to Jun 2023. Type II collagen specifically is mainly used in joint health supplements, while launches of skin health products with type II collagen grew 8% in the last five years.
