04 Dec 2020 --- Sensus has committed “significant capital” to expand its chicory inulin production capacity starting next year.
As part of the investment of an undisclosed amount, Sensus will contract increased acreage for chicory root with its farmer base, with some additional production areas already secured.

The announced investments are expecting to begin serving the market from 2022 onwards.

A natural fit for plant-based
Recent consumer trends have also spotlighted plant-based as an important category for health, further driving demand for chicory inulin.
