30 May 2018 --- Obese children who consume at least two daily servings of cow’s milk are more likely to have lower fasting insulin, indicating better blood sugar control, a study has found. The study, conducted at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), builds on previous research that has linked milk with qualities that are protective against metabolic syndromes. However, it is the first study to explore these factors among obese children, who are at risk from the development of such syndromes.
