26 Jul 2021 --- The University of Glasgow has landed £1 million (US$1.38 million) for research on weight loss treatment for long COVID-19 from the UK National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). Around 10 percent of people infected with COVID-19 have symptoms for 12 weeks or longer, which is known as “long COVID.” There are, as yet, no established treatments for people living with long COVID.
