E-commerce retailer iHerb and The Vitamin Shoppe sign distribution agreement

15 Jul 2024 --- E-commerce vitamin retailer iHerb has partnered with The Vitamin Shoppe to bring its range of premium brands such as The Vitamin Shoppe, Vthrive The Vitamin Shoppe, BodyTech and BodyTech Elite, on iHerb’s global online platform.

iHerb ships more than 50,000 products from over 1,800 brands to over 180 countries.

Wellness support
The new partnership underscores a common goal by both companies to support consumers with their wellness. iHerb has a vast logistics network and ships each product from one of its GMP or ISO-compliant climate-controlled distribution centers in the US and Asia.

iHerb’s facilities are temperature controlled and are maintained at around 24 degrees Celsius, which protects products from harmful conditions such as extreme heat, cold and humidity.

Quality control
The Vitamin Shoppe puts its products through 320 rigorous quality assurance steps, with ingredient purity and potency verified by independent, third-party laboratories.

Earlier this year, Uber Technologies struck a nationwide partnership with The Vitamin Shoppe in the US, making the wellness selection available for on-demand and scheduled delivery via the UberEats app. Supplements can be ordered from 700 The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements locations.

Last month, The Vitamin Shoppe’s latest Health and Wellness Trend Report 2024 provided perspectives on the main consumer trends in the nutritional supplements sector. The report specified what US citizens buy to support their health and well-being, leveraging proprietary data from the website and 700 retail locations.
